So very excited! I have been working into the small hours with my friend Solomon Lau, and we have jointly founded a new musical ensemble, named Illumina. Illumina is a small choir of talented young singers that sings large scale works with small number of high quality singers, as well as an organisation that will allow up and coming composers to have their works performed to a high standard.
Illumina also intends to give back to the community by nominating a charity for each of its concerts. The chosen charity will then receive a percentage of profits from the concert.
Our first concert will be a performance of Bach's B Minor Mass, and it will be held in St.Peter's College Chapel at 7.30pm on Friday 16th February. Put the date in your diaries!
Solomon and I have been talking about this for a couple of months now, but tonight we decided to make it happen! We have the name, a web-page and a contact form for the choir, and it is live and ready to go! Please visit the Illumina page by clicking here
