So, today has been very productive. I've built the new site and launched it, as well as putting some feelers around Cornwall and Devon for solo work later this year. Oh, and a side of sorting out some solo work in Oxford.
I've had some very promising e-mails from putting said feelers out - after one e-mail, New Cornwall Opera replied that they would be "delighted" to have me and that I would be "most welcome", so that may have guaranteed me some opera chorus and maybe even solo work when I arrive in Cornwall.
In addition to that I got another bite - one e-mail I sent was to a choral society MD in Devon, whose reply said that I'd definitely be on his list of soloists, and that he hopes to be able to give me solo work with one or more of his three choral societies. Three possible work ventures. In one e-mail. Something tells me my time in the South West is time I'm going to enjoy very much indeed.
Now I need to do my tidying and washing up, so until next time...
